Leo is a Partner at One Way Ventures where he is passionate about funding technology startups that can help provide more economic opportunity globally. As an investor, Leo has worked with startups such as Claritype, Debbie, and Provision. He also leads the firm's VC network management and portfolio fundraising support efforts. Additionally, he co-authored the 2022 State of Latinx VC Report, which provides insights into the Latinx community's experiences in the venture capital industry. 

Prior to joining the team, Leo was a researcher at Sequoia Capital, an investor at Polymath Ventures in Colombia, and an investor at Balyasny Asset Management, where he focused on late-stage private investments. He began his career in strategy and operations at Capital One. Leo earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S./M.S. in Finance and International Economics from the University of Virginia.
